PSP-Works Plaid Scripts

Here are two Paint Shop Pro scripts that will let you turn any stripe pattern into a seamless plaid tile.
Instructions are included in the zip file.

These scripts were made in PSP 8 and should work in all later versions.  They don't work in Photoshop. 

They're not hard to use but you should at least know your way around the program interface and understand the scripting tool.

Copyright and What it Means to You

I've been working on this a little a time since January, before I hurt my arm.  It's a sort of follow up to a post I made about Creative Commons licenses.

PSP-Works Border Masks

Paint Shop Pro has some really nice edge masks and frames.  As with a lot of the program's standard content, they don't work so well at high resolutions.  I decided I'd try to make some for PSP-Works and these are the results.

Art Update

I haven't uploaded much art in the past couple of months.  I've been experimenting a lot with Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro.  My experiments usually end up being saved as textures because I figure they might be useful but I don't know what I might use them in yet.

Anyway, I decided it was time to make an art update.

This is free to use as a website header or other illustration.
Please do not edit or redistribute.

Brushes are by Obsidiandawn.com,

This artwork is a usage sample for some of my resources on the blog.
It's not stock.  You may not edit it or use it in your graphic projects.

I'll be uploading the overlays I used for this at a later date.

PSP-Works Gradient Pack

Wow, I can't believe the month is almost over.  It's really gotten away from me.  I wanted to make these for a scifi-themed project I was working on, and then I just liked the look of them and wound up with a bunch of variations.    Don't be put off by the simplicity; they'll work quite nicely for lighting effects.
